My name is Daniel Ozimek and I am an Associate Professor of Practice of Mathematics at Saint Joseph's University in Lancaster.
I earned my Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction (Mathematics Education) from Penn State University, where my research explored how nursing students conceptualize dimensional analysis as a method for calculating medication dosage.
Recently, I have been working to lead a national taskforce seeking to improve mathematics education for nurses across the United States. If you'd like to learn more about this ambitious initiative, please see this website: http://www.utdanacenter.org/math-for-nurses/
